Victoria Leonard-Blakley

Victoria Leonard-Blakley is the owner of Beau Corps Studio. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from UC Irvine, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from USIU, and a teaching certification from the Cecchetti Council of America. She is a GYROTONIC pre-trainer and a Pilates master trainer.

Ms. Leonard started classical ballet training in the Cecchetti Method at age 6 with her mother Margaret Olson. She has performed and taught ballet in the United States and Mexico, and was an ambassador of dance to Russia. Her teaching experience spans 35 years and includes instruction at private academies, junior colleges and universities. Victoria’s introduction to the Pilates method was through Diane Diefenderfer in 1986. She continued her studies with Real Isacowitz at Body Arts and Sciences and received her secondary certification in 2005. Her studies of the GYROTONIC Method began in 2002 and she is a certified level 2 pre-trainer. Victoria Leonard is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, the Pilates Method Alliance, and the Performing Arts Medicine Association. She continues her education through in-person and virtual workshops throughout the year and enjoys teaching dance conditioning classes at the ABT William Gillespie School in Costa Mesa, CA.

Barbara Howell

Barbara Howell is a good standing member of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) who majored in Computer Science at Northrop University in Los Angeles, CA. She was a dedicated Figure Skater who retired from competitive Ice Dancing in 1993. In 1998, following a major back injury, Barbara began practicing Pilates, and now she is enjoying being a Pilates instructor helping her clients hit their goals and improve daily life. She received her Pilates certification from Body Arts and Science International (BASI Pilates) in 2006. She specializes in:
